Boutique Los Balcones really captured the charm of colonial architecture. The breakfast served on the terrace each morning was a delightful treat with fresh smoothies and tasty cheese empanadas. My room had a comfortable bed and a well-appointed bathroom. I appreciated the multiple sets of doors that blocked out street noise, allowing for peaceful sleep despite being in a busy area. The staff were welcoming and provided helpful tips for exploring the city. The location made it easy to walk around old town. However, some areas could use a bit of updating. The room I booked wasn't as charming as the ones featured in photos, and I wish there were more options at breakfast for those with dietary restrictions. Also, the nights were a bit noisy due to creaky floorboards from the wooden structure. Despite these small drawbacks, I felt secure and settled during my stay, making it worthwhile.

stylish hotel with a few drawbacks
The hotel offered a charming ambiance with beautiful old European furniture, making my stay feel quite unique. Breakfast on the terrace was a delightful experience with a great selection of dishes. The multiple layers of security made me feel safe in my room, which had a lovely view of the bustling street below, though I opted not to use the balcony due to the noise.
The street noise made it difficult to fully enjoy the balcony.
